Yes, we have a luggage room in our office to store backpacks and a safe for valuable personal items.

We do not recommend bringing suitcases or suitcases with wheels, it is better to bring backpacks of a maximum of 40 kg and a small backpack for personal things

SERVICES

Yes, we provide electricity in the dining room and rooms during meals and also during the night from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. In the case of the Pampas we have electricity 24 hours a day.

All programs start at 08:30 and end at 16:30 in Rurrenabaque

We only provide Wi-Fi in the Rurrenabaque office, in the jungle lodge there is no phone signal, only radio communication 3 times a day. In Pampas if you have a chip from a local operator (Entel) if there is a cell phone signal (sometimes very low) and you can use your own internet.

Only extra drinks such as beer, soda and wine, there are no snacks or other items for sale.

If you have accident insurance and also personnel trained in first aid and transportation available 24 hours a day to evacuate people in case of emergency.

We have 2 banks in the city enabled with ATMs to withdraw cash in local currency. (fie bank and union bank)

There are no official exchange houses and only American and Bolivian dollars are handled.

There are many shops that offer all the products necessary to take the tour and also high quality restaurants, hotels and places to visit.

The piranhas, alligators, lizards and anacondas return but we do not recommend swimming since there are fewer dolphins in this season and the water level in the river is very low.

1. Introduction

This Payment and Currency Policy outlines the accepted payment methods, authorized currencies, fixed exchange rate, and applicable commissions, ensuring a reliable and smooth experience for both national and international clients.

2. Accepted Currencies

Mashaquipe accepts cash payments only, in the following currencies:

  • Bolivianos (Bs)

  • United States Dollars (USD)

  • Euros (EUR)

All cash payments must be made in person in the city of Rurrenabaque, Bolivia, at the time and place previously agreed upon with our team.


3. Exchange Rate

For pricing, billing, and payment calculation purposes, Mashaquipe applies a fixed internal exchange rate, established as follows:

  • 1 United States Dollar (USD) = 8 Bolivianos (Bs)

This exchange rate is fixed, internal, and non-negotiable, regardless of fluctuations in national or international currency markets. The same internal criteria may be applied to Euro payments, using the corresponding equivalent at the time of payment.


4. Payment Methods

4.1 Cash Payments

Cash payment is the primary and preferred payment method at Mashaquipe:

  • No additional fees apply.

  • Accepted only in person in Rurrenabaque.

  • Payments may be made in Bs, USD, or EUR.


4.2 Bank Transfers

In exceptional cases, bank transfers may be accepted under the following conditions:

  • All bank transfers made through financial platforms will be subject to an additional 5% surcharge on the total service amount.

  • This surcharge covers bank fees, administrative costs, and operational expenses associated with financial platforms.

  • The final amount, including the commission, will be communicated to the client prior to booking confirmation.


5. Fees and Additional Charges

  • Cash payments: No additional fees apply.

  • Bank transfers: A 5% commission will be applied to the total service cost.

  • All applicable charges will be clearly disclosed in advance to ensure full transparency.


6. Payment Confirmation

Service confirmation is subject to:

  • Full receipt of the agreed payment.

  • Verification of the correct amount, including commissions when applicable.

  • For bank transfers, confirmation of cleared funds in the designated account.

Mashaquipe is not responsible for delays caused by banking errors, incorrect transfer details, or processing times of financial institutions.


7. Policy Modifications

Mashaquipe reserves the right to modify this Payment and Currency Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be published on the official website www.mashaquipe.com and will become effective upon publication.
