We will leave Rurrenabaque at 8:30 am. After an hour’s boat trip we will visit a local community to learn about our way of life and share a little bit with the local people. Then we will continue our journey, enjoying the magnificent scenery, such as the Bala Canyon. Upon arrival at our eco-lodge, "Mashaquipe",you will be welcomed with a refreshing glass of fruit juice, will be shown your rooms and then we will have lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the bamboo forest, a good place to see animals such as peccaries, turtles and others. You may also be surprised by the giant trees that grow in the rainforest. On our return to the eco-lodge we will have dinner and then rest.
The noisy concert of the howler monkeys and a variety of birds will welcome the new day. After a good breakfast you will learn a little of our culture by making various crafts such as rings and fans, be shown how to use traditional bows etc. After lunch we will take our camping equipment (mosquito net, mattress, sleeping bag) ready to spend our first night in the depths of the jungle at the “Patujusal” camp. It will take about 5 hours of leisurely walking to get there. Along the way we can see various birds, including toucans, macaws and guans; howler monkeys, spider monkeys and a variety of higher plants. After dinner we can take a short night walk
Breakfast will be at 7:30 am. Then we will make a circuit around the "Patujusal" camp in order to see spider monkeys and continue to be surprised by the array of biodiversity: the plants and insects. We will return to the camp for lunch. In the afternoon we will move to a new site deep in the jungle where we spend the night, feeling and experiencing the jungle andhearing different sounds during the night.
The different songs of birds and monkeys greet the new day. At about 8:00 am we will have breakfast, collect our belongings and then move to our camp named "Arenalito". Before arriving we can see, from the top of the mountain, spectacular macaws and parrots, enjoy the view across Madidi National Park and watch a beautiful sunset. We will have dinner and rest. If you want you can take a walk on the beaches of the River Tuichi to look for caiman eyes by torchlight.
Breakfast will be at 8:00 am. Then we will collect our belongings and go to the River Tuichi where we will build a raft of logs (traditional transport of the Amazonian Indians) and go rafting for about 2 hours. However the boat will be there too, for our security, backpacks and for people who do not wish to participate in this activity. We will have lunch at the "Mashaquipe" eco-lodge and later return to Rurrenabaque where we arrive at about 16:00 pm
